Ochsner

DELUXE KING ROOM

This lovely room is named for a local physician, Dr. Ochsner, who once purchased the Gable House Inn to serve as his private hospital.  It is a large south-facing room that features a king bed and a full bathroom with a claw foot tub and shower combination right next to it.

Ochsner may be rented as a one bedroom or may be combined with Train to create a two-bedroom suite.

When rented as a two bedroom, Ochsner and Train share the full bath.

KING & QUEEN 2-BEDROOM UNIT

(If Ochsner is rented solo, Train goes off the market)

This is a combination of the Ochsner and Train rooms on the 3rd floor, sharing a full bath with clawfoot tub/shower. Train has a queen bed. Please see Ochsner and Train descriptions for room details.

Helen

DELUXE QUEEN ROOM with Private Bath

This large cozy room is south-facing with a queen bed and a spacious, private three-quarter bath. This is a beautiful room with the gables creating unique corners and niches within the space.

Heather

DELUXE KING ROOM with Private Bath

Heather is a spacious but cozy suite. It features a private bath with a clawfoot tub and shower combination. This lovely space is bright and airy, with large north-facing bay windows.

Heather & Marie

2 BEDROOM with Private Bath

(If Heather is rented solo, Marie goes off the market)

This combination features both the Heather room and the Marie room. The two bedrooms are attached through a common full bath. Marie has windows facing north and east, with a full bed and a three-quarter bed along the east window.

The suite is on the north side of the second floor, at the top of the stairs, with lovely views of the La Plata mountains. Heather has north facing bay windows with a king bed.

DOUBLE QUEEN 2-BEDROOM UNIT with Hall Bath

This is a large room overlooking the North garden with two queen beds, and a full bathroom with a clawfoot tub and shower next to the room. It's a lovely space with plenty of light and a peaceful ambiance.

Cowboy

FULL with Hall Bath

This charming large, south-facing room features a full bed, with a private full bath in the hall. If paired with the Schutt room as a two bedroom unit, it shares a Jack & Jill bath between them.

Schutt

DELUXE QUEEN ROOM with Private Bath

This large room is named after the family who built the Gable House Inn in 1892. There is a beautiful brass queen bed, private south facing balcony, and three-quarter attached bath.

Schutt with Cowboy

QUEEN + FULL 2-BEDROOM UNIT with Private Bath

The Schutt Suite is the Schutt room combined with the Cowboy room. These rooms have a bath with a shower (no tub) between the rooms. Both rooms open into the 2nd-floor hallway. Both rooms are on the south side of the house. Please see Schutt and Cowboy descriptions for room details.
